Track Day

I'm starting to come around to Wednedays.  It's my day to go to the track and sprint around like I use to in high school.  I also don't have to take the jogger (a/k/a pepper spray) because there is no one out there but me and the track, also a couple of school employees keeping the grounds clean but they don't really care to much about me.

This morning my schedule called for 3 800's at 3:36.  I did a mile warmup, stretched and then took off for my first 800.  I don't have my watch to get the times and because I switched my watch back to alert me at 1 mile instead of .50 miles, my garminconnect does not have the 800's broken down.  Needless to say I did 3.51 miles in 31:XX..  It's on my dailymile widget.

Tonight while dinner is baking I'm going to do Day 4 of 30 Day Shred, then take a walk with my friend after dinner.  A full day of exercise, something I really enjoy.

Question for ya, my left hip has been hurting, especially after running.  It doesn't bother me while I'm running but as soon as I stop it starts hurting.  It especially flares up about an hour or so afterwards.  I've started doing some new hip stretching that I've gotten from DVD I've been doing and it seemed to help some this morning but I'm still noticing it.  I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this could be and how to make it go away.  If it doesn't feel better soon, I'm contemplating looking into making an appointment with a sports doctor to see if he could tell me what is wrong.  I'm not enjoying the pain.

  2. Yes it is. My mom bought it for me after I asked to borrow hers. I'm actually enjoying it and the soreness has worn off. My arms and thighs were really sore for a couple of days after I started it. I'm actually looking forward to Sunday when I can start Level 2.
