Smiles All Around

So even though I didn't start my day with a run, I ended it on a fantastic run through my neighborhood.  I did 3 miles in 25:44 and even though I wasn't looking to go fast, my legs would not slow down.  I tried but everytime I looked at my watch, I kept seeing 8:3X pace.  I would then try to slow down some more but a couple of minutes would go by, I'd take a peek at the garmin and see 8:3X.  So I finally stopped fighting and just let the speed take over.  It was fast, it was refreshing, it was just what I needed.

I was suppose to teach spin tonight but the other lady that I switch out with called me this morning and said she was told yesterday that this week would be the last week.  Since I forgot to tell the hubs earlier in the week that I needed him to pick up the girls, I decided to let her teach the class today.  I plan on talking to the boss today at abs class and see if the class is really over.  Bummer if it is but it's not going to deter me from getting my new schedule on.

So instead of spinning this evening, I'm planning on running another 3 miler.  I wanted to run a couple of miles Saturday but the hubs has decided he wants to leave before 8 a.m. so I'm planning on going Sunday, probably in the afternoon because after Saturday's games, I'll probably be drinking, probably a lot, depending on how my Auburn Tigers do this weekend.  Finger's crossed that they WIN AND WIN BIG!!!!!

Next week I'm starting my early morning routine back into full force.  I plan on going running four mornings a week with two spin classes and two abs classes thrown in.  I also plan on starting back on the weights.  Monday is going to be the hardest day but I feel that if I can get myself up that morning and go, then the rest of the week should be no problem.  Monday is the hardest day of all.

Well I'm getting back to work.  It's starting to pile up and I'm realizing that if I don't get it done, then no one else is going to do it for me, boo!!!

Have a great Thursday!!!!

  1. Sorry to hear about your husband's uncle, hopefully this weekend will be enjoyable for you & your family.

As for football, good luck... should be a great game. I'll be cheering for you. I could go for an Auburn/Oregon national championship matchup, that would be fun. :)
